For students deciding to come on a mobility experience can be a big decision with many aspects of life at home being considerations when considering being away for two weeks. For some one of the considerations is celebrating a birthday away from family and friends. This year Leitu made that decision and celebrated her birthday in Ho Chi Minh City and Hoi An.
The celebrations continued throughout the day for Leitu, firstly with the students from UEH singing her happy birthday (yes I believe the look in the photo translates into thanks Tim for telling everyone and getting me out the front of the class).
The celebrations continued in Hoi An where Leitu received flowers on arrival from the guide and hotel. And we were then able to share a birthday cake at dinner.
