Leaving the hotel at 6:23pm I left the hotel to return to train street, but this time for a very different experience from the quiet beer I enjoyed earlier in the day. Arriving at 6:41pm we settled in at one of the cafes which is next to the railway tracks (see below for safety signs) to wait for the arrival of the 7:00pm service.
At 6:55pm the staff come out and begin to pack up some of the chairs and tables and keep watching further along the tracks. Until finally the staff ask everyone to “stand up, the train is coming”. Chairs and tables are hurriedly move against the walls or inside the café and eager tourists are told to stay behind the red line and what comes next is best seen rather than explained.
