After having let the students take their first steps of exploring Ho Chi Minh City, our next activity is to venture to the Saigon Sky Deck. A striking building which makes a significant statement on skyline.
The shape of the building is inspired by the Lotus Flower.
From the top of the sky deck you are able to take in an amazing 360 degree view of the city and learn about future developments which are proposed for the city as well. The idea of the free afternoon is to let students immerse themselves in the hustle and bustle of the city. This is then contrasted by them being able to see the sheer scale of the city and realise that even though they saw a lot of people and scooters, in reality they only saw a small part of a very large and very busy city.
One of my favourite things to do at the tower is watch the city change from day to night
