As part of showing students hospitality in an international setting we are fortunate enough to be able to allow students to experience Runam bistro Ben Thanh. The Runam bistro is one restaurant in the Runam chain which incorporates three distinct brand offering in the Runam bistro, Runam Cafe and Runam Boutique.
This year store manager Phi and brand manager Ken arranged a special visit to Runam by meeting us in the hotel foyer and then taking us on a walking tour which took us past some of the Runam stores.
Once at the restaurant Phi had arranged an amazing menu to be served by five store managers.
We were also privilege to be welcomed my chief operating officer Peter Jones who provided to you of the Runam brand and other restaurant interests in Vietnam.
While enjoying the amazing food at Runam tow of the staff joined us as they had prepared a couple of songs for the group. Once they finished Matt from the tour was joined by Poly from the University of Economics who performed for the group.
One of the things that the Runam brand is truely passionate about is coffee and in particular promoting Vietnamese coffee. They use Vietnamese coffee which is roasted by Italian rosters to provide the highest quality of coffee they can make. They are also looking t innovating in coffee and have determined that 24gs is the idea weight of a shot of coffee and their phi filter has 38 holes to allow the coffee to drip. As part of our dining experience we were also given a lesson in how to make Vietnamese coffee.
After an amazing dinner Phi then walked us to his store, Runam Bistro Dong Khoi where we had coffee and enjoyed the Runam hospitality. Whilst coffee Phi presented me with a letter he had written for the group and it read;
