As part of the tour I have been very strategic with the placement of the rest day in Hoi An. Not only is the rest day placed just over the half way mark for the trip, but it is also placed after the bicycle ride to give sore legs and backsides a chance to recover.
Students are given from 3pm until 4pm the following day as free time, checking in with me along the way. With the students free from activities I took to the streets of Hoi An to have a look and see what I could find and to try and capture some of those things I have seen before but look at them from different angles. Hoi An is one of my favourite cities and it was a joy to be able to try and capture some of its character and beauty.
