Very pleased to be the Partnership Manager and host for the 22nd Symposium of Australian Gastronomy which is being held at the Female Orphan School at Western Sydney University’s Parramatta South campus, 16th – 19th November 2018.
The Symposium theme is ‘Out of place’ and “speaks to the cultural, social, economic and political forces that have shaped food production, distribution and consumption”. Over 100 writers, academics, chefs and others interested in gastronomy from around the world have come together to engage with more than 50 paper presentations, localised tours and visits to significant heritage sites around Parramatta.
