It has been a pleasure to work with the Castle Hill RSL group, and in particularly Group Corporate and Community Manager Melanie Morson to develop a program which will see two Western Sydney University hospitality management students be given the opportunity to participate in a unique employment program.

Often students have to wait to the end of their degree to enter graduate programs, however in this instance that is flipped in its head.  Students in this program will be given twelve months of part time employment to gain experience in the hospitality industry working through different areas of the club and also across different venues.  However where this program will differ from others is that the students will be given mentoring from myself and all of the executive managers at the Castle Hill group.

This program will create a great platform for students to build their careers in hospitality and hopefully will be the first of many students to benefit from this partnership.
