So we headed out to the Tien River Restaurant, a phone call from our guide Quyen confirmed that we were able to get to the restaurant as the river in parts had flowed over onto the river.
For one of the student, Josh, it was his 21st birthday. Quyen surprised him with a gift of flowers to say happy birthday.
After dinner there was a birthday cake for Josh
Later DrTimmy suggested toasting Josh with 4,000 Dong (25 cent) draught beer. Funnily enough Josh thanked me for organising the cake but not for suggesting the draught beer
