As zoos look for different ways to enrich the lives of their animals they also are looking at unique and different ways in which to provide guests with unique experiences. So what can you do to show large animals such as elephants in a different way that also enriches their daily routines?
One option taken by two zoos has been to add an underwater view of elephants in the water. The Fuji Safari Park hashed a 65 metre swimming pool for the elephants which can be viewed from outside of the pool
While the Zurich Zoo in Switzerland also has an underwater viewing area for their elephants as well
