Increasingly universities are realising that they are being benchmarked by students against what other public and private education institution offer. For many years universities have talked about student experience and employed people to be in charge of it without necessarily understanding exactly what it is.
Now there is the Student Experience Survey which
“provides current higher education students with the opportunity to talk about their experience of the institution they are enrolled in. The results of the research are used to help higher education providers and the government gain insight into students’ experiences, and use this information to monitor and improve teaching and learning in Australia.”
